Some images of upcoming AND1 shoes for Q1-Q2 of 2013 have surfaced online via the website http://Cargocollective.com.  Presented in the form of a product catalogue, some pages have featured never-before-seen models including shoe names and features (listed are the Guardian Mid, the Orbit Mid, and Tha Beast Mid).  Posted below the images that I got from the said website, plus a picture of an image recently shared in the official AND1 Instagram account (follow @and1_basketball) for comparison.

which shows the Empire 2.0 Mid along with the Guardian Mid and Orbit Mid.

According to the website, Alexander Cherin made the copy/text for the AND1 material and have posted some samples online as part of his portfolio (quoted: “I wrote all the descriptions of the shoes and worked on the introduction copy.”).  Click HERE for the actual page.  While these remain to be confirmed as official shoe line ups by AND1 Basketball, these are nonetheless exciting news for fans and consumers of the AND1 brand.

Current AND1 Live Streetball high flyer Brandon “Werm” Lacue recently won the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown in Charlotte last week.  He has done it for three straight years, having succeeded previously in Dallas and Miami in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

Wearing a pair of yet-to-be-released AND1 Guardian Mids, Werm made sure he got a lot of attention with a special make-up/player exclusive of the said model (image below).  I've also added some more pictures of Werm during the dunk contest.
