Greetings, And Juans. The And1 Live Streetball Tour recently made a stop yesterday, December 8, 2011 at Davenport, Iowa.

News about this event was posted in the official Facebook fanpages of And1 Basketball and And1 Live Streetball (images below).

Rob Purvy, Executive Director for And1, also shared via e-mail a link to an online article (Quad-City Times, click HERE for the original story) members of the And1 Live team visited Davenport Community School District locations across the state of Iowa to remind grade school students about the importance of education and provided inspirational talks about discipline, hardwork, and not giving up.

After the school tour, players converged in a local campus gym (which seats only 2,200) for an exhibition game in front of a crowd of 2300-plus. In the words of Steven Simmons, And1 Live Director of Operations, “..the event was a HUGE success.”

Just in case some of you don’t know it yet, the highly successful And1 Mixtape Tour is now called the And1 Live Streetball Tour, and is presented by B-Ball and Company and the basketball apparel manufacturer AND1.

As indicated in the press release submitted by Davenport Community Schools (click HERE to view the article), “..AND1 will show off their unique, high-energy, playground- style basketball (against a team of local talent).”
